Crog
A row of sharp spikes protrude from the spinal ridges of these awe-inspiring
monsters, whose hide is rocklike in appearance and solidity. Crogs move - with
surprising speed – on muscular, trunk-like legs that end in feet which
are clad in layers of bone and scale.
The Crog’s primary weapon is its huge mouth, which contains two jagged
rows of viciously curved teeth. When attacking, the Crog opens its cavernous
maw, and then shoots it forward, seeking to enclose the victim completely before
biting hard. Crogs are highly aggressive, attacking all but the very largest
creatures (such as dragons) on sight.
Crogs are hardy creatures that dwell in the wastelands of Agon, each individual
patrolling a vast territory. They are a most common on Cairn, but are found
in many other remote badlands as well.
