Greetings Agonians,
Today we will be patching in a seasonal event known as Ganksgiving, new unique Premium items in our Selentine shop and also a series of general updates and fixes. Stay tuned for our upcoming Relics patch, early next week, that is in the final testing phase.
Ganksgiving Event
“Ganksgiving! That very special time of year when Agonians from all over the land take a moment and give thanks for their finest moments of battle, be they steeped in heroic bravery or sadistic slaughter! Wishbones are collected from the mysteriously seasonal Growling Gobblers who migrate through the land and offered up as tribute for the glorious memories of battles past!
Starting today and for the next 4 days, Growling Gobblers will migrate across Agon in large herds. Consult your maps and find their daily grazing grounds!
Hunt them down and skin them to extract their Wishbones.”
Two New Event Feats
Thanksgiving: Novice Wishbone Gatherer. Skin 175 Wishbones from Growling Gobblers.
Reward: The Pilgim (New headgear).
Thanksgiving: Competent Wishbone Gatherer. Skin 350 Wishbones from Growling Gobblers.
Reward: Gangksgiving Feast (New Unique recipe).

New Epic Feat
“Thanksgiving: Frenzealously Psycho-rabid Gobbler Slayer”.
Reward: Overstuffed Gobbler (New Unique recipe).
“Only for the truly fanatical and dedicated player! Those with the mentally unstable levels of endurance required to accomplish this impossible feat will be rewarded with a unique recipe! They shall be the only ones on Agon who will be able to craft the very explosive Overstuffed Turkey and bring some holiday pain to the festivities!”
New Feature
Speed buff on Roads/main routes when riding a mount.
Base mount speed on any terrain has also been slightly increased.
Crafting Updates
Mastery Recipes can now only be crafted at Clan and Housing workstations.
Combat Updates
Significantly reduced the force of Watery Grave
General Updates
- Players now instantly accelerate to max velocity when switching directions. This will give a sharper feel for character movement.
- Pressing left and right (A+D) together, no longer stops the character from moving.
- "/" now switches to chat window from game mode or ui mode and enters / in the chat input area.
- Chat bubbles on Global,Trade,Help and Party channels are now on by default.
- Updated the description of Static Field and Stoic Defence skills.
- Enabled Free camera rotation during emotes.
General Fixes
- Fix for mount landing impact damage with simple jump.
- Feat re-naming for armor crafting.
- Fixed a visual issue with the Sweeper mount.
- Fix for mount landing impact damage with simple jump.
- Projectile trails are now aligned correctly.
- Fixed a bug where Attunement to Earth would produce mesh artifacts on first person mode.
- Fixed a bug where Attunement to Earth would hide the mask that the player was wearing.
New Premium Skins
Among the latest skins to debut in the shop are a set of Legacy weapon skins that hail from Darkfall’s glorious past.
Shredder Shield
Blocking is more fun when you're tearing the flesh off your hapless enemies in glorious, meaty chunks!
Ghostclaw
The Ghostclaw brings a painful end to many a moonlit hunt. Rumored to be crafted from star-metal, this Mahirim weapon is said to never lose it's edge.
Ilshard

Lightbringer
Auros, it was said, wielded such a blade while ruling over Riada where he birthed the Mercian nation.
Ildhammer
Tapping into the fiery heart of the mountain, the Ildhammer is the weapon of the Ancient Dwarves.
Sunbow
Fashioned in remembrance for the Mirdain's long fallen brethren, this bow honors the Ithwen and their worship of the sun.
Aldaruk
In Orkspeak, the name translates to 'the Sender.'
